Deep Dive
Location & Geology
The Menzies Emerald Project is strategically located in Western Australia, approximately 50km from the town of Menzies and 180km north of the major mining hub of Kalgoorlie.
Historical geological mapping indicates the mining lease contains a 2 km long by 200 m wide ultramafic rock unit. Pegmatites have intruded this unit, creating optimal conditions for emerald formation. Five emerald-bearing shoots have already been discovered.
